'Welcome to Georgia' Photographic Exhibition celebrates Georgia's Independence Day

On Tuesday 10th May, 2016 at 1.30 p.m. an tArdmhéara Críona Ní Dhálaigh and the Chargé d’Affaires of Georgia, George Zurabashvili, will open a photographic exhibition Welcome to Georgia in City Hall, Cork Hill, Dublin 2. This new photographic exhibition coincides with the 25th Anniversary of Independence Day of Georgia (celebrated on 26th May annually) and the 20th Anniversary of Diplomatic relations with Ireland. It forms part of celebrations organized to mark these anniversaries and it aims to raise awareness about Georgia with the general public.

The Photographic Exhibition is organized by the Embassy of Georgia and supported by Dublin City Council. It runs from the 10th May, 2016 to 27th June at various venues (details below). Admission is free, check on dublincity.ie for opening times.

Photographic Exhibition dates:

  • Tuesday 10th May & Wednesday 11th May in City Hall, Cork Hill
  • Friday 13th May to Friday 3rd June in the Civic Offices, Wood Quay
  • Monday 6th June to Friday 27th June CHQ Gallery, Custom House Quay
