Dublin City Council are delighted to announce that for all those that don’t have tickets for Croke Park, the Lord Mayor invites you All Ireland Live on Smithfield Plaza. The event commences at 12.30 and will feature a free outdoor screening of the Cork v Galway minor match followed by the Dublin v Kerry senior match this Sunday September 1st. 

Dublin City Council are supporting the boys in blue on Sunday with banners on the Civic Offices and Palace Street, posters all over the city and Dublin's Lord Mayor Paul Mc Auliffe has given out 1200 flags to sixty Dublin GAA Clubs.  As excitement reaches fever pitch in the capital, Dublin City Council want to bring all Dublin supporters together in their best blues this Sunday to support their team in the All Ireland.

Lord Mayor Mc Auliffe said “Come down to Smithfield Plaza and enjoy the atmosphere and a great final with your fellow Dubs.  Dublin City Council is proud to be bringing this free, family-friendly event to Smithfield and I hope we get a good crowd down to cheer on the Boys in Blue.”

Important Information:

If you are planning to attend All Ireland Live at Smithfield Plaza please remember:

  • There is no parking at the event there are no special arrangements for event parking
    in the Smithfield area.
  • Log on to to use public transport to get to the event. The red line LUAS stops at Smithfield.
  • Gates to the event open at 12.30pm.
  • Access to the event is via North King Street or New Church Street.
  • This is a family friendly event and alcohol is not permitted. You cannot bring in or consume alcohol at the event.
  • Searches will be in place at the access points to the event.
