Dublin City Council is excited to unveil its strategy for a thriving night-time economy. Led by our new Night-Time Economy Advisor, Ray O'Donoghue, we're set to transform Dublin's after-dark scene into a safe, inclusive, and culturally rich experience for all. Our plan focuses on three key areas:

  1. Cultural Activity: We're working to create diverse nightlife options, from multi-venue events to extended hours for cultural spaces.
  2. Mobility and Transport: Advocating for more late night public transport, with more frequent services and better accessibility.
  3. Safety: We're committed to making Dublin safer at night through improved lighting, surveillance, and community initiatives.

This strategy aims to boost Dublin's economy while offering exciting nightlife experiences for residents and visitors alike. We're addressing current challenges, like safety concerns and transport issues, to create a welcoming night-time environment for everyone.

We're embracing change to put Dublin on the map as a top global nightlife destination.
