The Dublin City EU Programme Participation Strategy
The Dublin City EU Programme Participation Strategy 2021-2027 aims to identify EU funding opportunities that can help Dublin City Council achieve its strategic goals.
The Dublin City EU Programme Participation Strategy 2021 – 2027 strategy is an initiative of the DCC Economic Development and Enterprise Strategic Policy Committee (SPC) - Working Group on International Relations & European Affairs. The committee is made up of Dublin City Councillors and industry representatives.
The thematic approach of the strategy focuses on Regional & Urban Development; Social; Culture; Green and Smart areas.
The aim of the strategy is to support the identification of opportunities within the EU Partnership Programmes & EU funding streams to realise Dublin City Council priorities but to also contribute to the target areas identified by the European Commission in the six EU pillars and the seven EC Flagships areas.
The strategy will also allow Dublin City Council to further develop policy alignment; capacity building; regional cooperation; public consultation; networking opportunities and reputation enhancement through innovative approaches and additionally through EU partnership projects.
Finally, the strategy supports the identification of opportunities within the EU Partnership Programmes & EU funding streams to continue building a better future for those who live, work and visit Dublin.
