This year, the 27th winner of the Dublin Literary Award will be announced by its Patron, Lord Mayor Alison Gilliland on Monday 23rd May at 13:00, as a central part of the programme of International Literature Festival Dublin.
The 2022 Award winner will be chosen from a diverse and dynamic international shortlist which includes two novels in translation and a first-time novelist. Stories by French, Irish, Michi Saagiig Nishnaabeg (Alderville First Nation, Canadian), New Zealand, and Nigerian authors, read by discerning library patrons all over the world have made it to that shortlist.
The majority of nominated novels for the Dublin Literary Award 2022 are available for readers to borrow from public libraries or on digital loan from BorrowBox.
