Raheny Library and the Raheny Heritage Society are delighted to present the society's Annual Ray Wickham Lecture on Wednesday 16th June at 7.30pm.
This online lecture is aimed at both complete beginners as well as those who are already using the key Irish family history resources which are available online.
Guest speaker Joan Sharkey has been an active member of the Raheny Heritage Society since it was founded in January 1987 by the late Ray Wickham and a former Honorary Secretary of the Society. She is the author of St. Anne's The Story of a Guinness Estate, published by The Woodfield Press in association with Dublin City Council in 2002. Joan started working part-time as a professional genealogist in 1999 and became a member of Accredited Genealogists Ireland (AGI) in 2003, and is its current President.

Raheny Heritage Society encourages interest and research into both local and family history. The Society hosts several public talks each year, as well as monthly meetings for members on both local and family history.
