Explore four key skills to assist you become more resilient when faced with challenges and adversity.

At times of hardship and challenge, our resilience can be tested whether this is as result of adversity, concerns or worries in life. When difficult times strike, being resilient is the difference between suffering and flourishing. In this short talk, we will explore four key skills for helping you with both mental toughness and resilience during times of adversity which are just as important as we continue to emerge from the Covid-19 pandemic.

The good news is that these skills can be learned by anyone at any age and have been demonstrated to improve our ability to bounce back more quickly when adversity strikes.

Join us for this thought provoking, educational and good humoured talk to support you with practical tips for enhancing your resilience.

Guest speaker is Mike Hackett, IASD MIACP; M.A. Pluralistic Counselling & Psychotherapy, Adv. Dip. Supervision, B.Sc. (Hons.) Counselling & Psychotherapy.

Mike has had several articles published in various journals, has spoken publicly on diverse areas such as resilience, wellbeing, and self-care.
