How to live well with Arthritis

Arthritis Ireland develop and deliver services and supports which allow people living with arthritis to lead full and active lives. They listen to their community and advocate solutions to their needs, while influencing the research agenda and promoting development of new diagnostics, treatments and supports.
This talk will look at the different types of arthritic conditions, how to live well and be active with arthritis and where to seek supports and guidance.
Peter Boyd is Arthritis Ireland’s Services Support Officer with particular responsibility for the national helpline and online forum. Peter was diagnosed with rheumatoid arthritis and fibromyalgia in 2011 and began volunteering with Arthritis Ireland on all services from the award-winning self-management courses to being a trustee of the organisation for six years, before joining the staff in 2019.
