Hugh Lane Gallery is a leading museum of art in Ireland, centrally located on Parnell Street in Dublin’s city centre. Established in 1908 by Sir Hugh Lane as the Municipal Gallery of Modern Art, the gallery houses an exciting collection of Irish and International modern and contemporary art.

Be inspired by Harry Clarke’s renowned stained-glass masterpieces and exceptional works by Impressionists Manet, Renoir, Morisot, Monet, Degas, Pissarro and Vuillard.

For a truly unique experience, visit Francis Bacon’s Studio. Meticulously relocated piece-by-piece from 7 Reece Mews, London. The studio offers a rare glimpse into the working process of one of the twentieth century’s greatest artists

The gallery also features a dedicated Sean Scully Gallery, showcasing a remarkable collection by the acclaimed Irish artist.

With a great bookshop and gorgeous independent café, the Hugh Lane Gallery offers a space to relax and reflect. With regular temporary exhibitions, new displays from its collections, events and a robust educational programme – every visit is an enriching experience.
