Little Lámh Workshop

Lámh is the recognised sign system for children and adults with communications support needs in Ireland. Lámh is a manual sign system. 
Speech is always used with Lámh signs, and only key words are signed.  

The Little Lámh Workshop is an introductory workshop for families, friends and professionals who are interested in learning a small number of Lámh signs. 

The session will provide foundation on how to use Lámh signs at home and in school. Participants will receive a book with practical advice and illustrations of the 26 signs. 

Facilitated by Silvia Angel, Education consultant, Early Intervention Specialist and Lámh tutor GDipAutSt.  SS. BA ( PsyhEd ) 
Silvia Angel is an education consultant and early intervention specialist with over 20 years of experience supporting children with additional needs, families, and teachers. 
Silvia has worked as an early intervention specialist in Ireland in public children's clinics since 2002. Silvia is a trainer and speaker and has presented at premier national and international events in her field, such as the National Progressing Disabilities conference and the World Down Syndrome Congress.

No previous Lámh training required.
