Notification of Social Housing Needs Assessment 2023

In accordance with Section 21 of the Housing (Miscellaneous Provisions) Act 2009, Dublin City Council has been instructed by the Department of Housing, Planning & Local Government to carry out an assessment of housing needs for 2023. This is not a full assessment of all applicants on the Housing Waiting List. Only applicants contacted by letter need to respond to this assessment.
Dublin City Council will be writing to a limited number of applicants currently on the housing waiting list to reassess their eligibility for housing support.
Transfer applicants (DCC/HAP/RAS tenants) are not included in this assessment.
All relevant applicants must reply in full to this correspondence. Completed returns, with all necessary documentation enclosed, should be submitted to:
Dublin City Council, Housing & Community Services Department, Housing Allocations and Transfers Section, Block 2, Floor 1, Civic Offices, Wood Quay, Dublin 8
Completed forms should be submitted in pre paid envelopes provided not later than 24th September 2023.
Please note, failure to submit a completed return in this timeline will result in your application for housing support being closed by the Local Authority.
