Parenting With Confidence in DCC Libraries
Published on 23rd March 2026
Parenting is one of the most rewarding, and challenging, journeys any of us will take. This April, Dublin City Council Libraries are proud to present Parenting with Confidence, a programme which will cover a range of topics addressing the realities of modern parenting designed to provide additional information and support from trusted sources to parents, carers, and families.
Parenting with Confidence is a year-long programme aimed at helping parents feel informed, empowered, and supported. Through workshops, talks, and interactive activities, the series will bring together child development experts, health professionals, food educators and fellow parents to explore key parenting themes.
Highlights during April will include:
• Talks with psychotherapist Fiona Hall
• Talks with speech and language therapist Caitriona Geraghty
• Workshops in Cabra and Walkinstown with the Cool Food School
As always, all events are free, but advance booking is recommended. Check your local library's website or ask staff for full listings and details. Join us this April and let your local library be a place where you can learn, share, and grow as a parent - with confidence.
