Dublin City was allocated €160,634 under the first round of the COVID-19 Emergency Fund which was funded by the Department of Rural and Community Development to support community and voluntary groups involved in the delivery of COVID-19 community response efforts.

Dublin City was allocated €117,246 under the second round of the COVID-19 Emergency Fund. The fund was aimed, in general, at not-for-profit community and voluntary groups in Dublin City. The fund provided grants to assist applicant groups to either adapt services and operations in response to the new COVID-19 reality in 2021 or become more involved with the Government's 'Keep Well' campaign. Applications for this fund were invited via an online system.
