eResources and your library membership
Published on 24th May 2022

All libraries in Ireland provide the following online resources like a basic package: BorrowBox, Libby, PressReader, and Universal Class.
After that, what's on offer is a smorgasbord of different online resources. For example South Dublin have their local study resources and Cork City Libraries offer film streaming.
This is important to bear in mind when it comes to the new online catalogue. Each local authority has it's own library catalogue, find your library's online catalogue. This is separate from their websites: select your library service.
Sounds confusing but it's not.
This brings me to the next item. You must have a Dublin City library card to access our eResources. The same goes for all the library authorities. If you want to use Cork City Libraries film streaming for example you must have a Cork City Libraries card.
