Highlighting eResources - eBooks and eAudiobooks

Did you know you can borrow / reserve up to 5 eBooks and 5 eAudiobooks at a time with Dublin City Libraries? To do so, visit http://library.bolindadigital.com/dublin and sign in using your library card number and PIN.
To use Borrowbox on your phone, tablet or Kindle Fire download the BorrowBox Library app from your App Store (Google Play) (iTunes) (Kindle Fire). Once you have installed the app, search for Dublin in the ‘Library’ field and then sign in using your library membership card number and PIN.
To download an ebook to your eReader, laptop or PC you will need to install Adobe Digital Editions and create an account with them. Here are more instructions.
You cannot use BorrowBox on a Kindle eReader as Kindle eReaders only support eBooks from Amazon.
Good to know
- You can search by title, author or category, preview titles and more.
- You can download your title instantly or at any time during the loan period.
- When reserved titles are ready you will receive an email.
- You can renew your loans twice
- We recommend that you download via WiFi only (and not your data package) as files can be quite large.
- New titles are always being added, so visit often and make the most of your library membership.

Troubleshooting
Don't know your PIN? You can reset your PIN online.
You will not be able to log in if your library membership has expired. You can renew your membership in your branch, online at dublincity.spydus.ie or by emailing [email protected]
If you have long overdue loans (9 weeks or more) a temporary block will be placed on your account. This will prevent you from logging in to BorrowBox. The block will be lifted as soon as you return the books.
If you enter your PIN incorrectly too many times you will not be able to log in for 30 minutes. Please wait 30 mins and try again or contact us by emailing [email protected].
Uninstalling and reinstalling the BorrowBox app can help if you are experiencing an issue.
If a you are unable to renew a title, it may be the title is due to expire from the collection.
