Yoga and Voice for Here and Now

Sometimes it can seem difficult to find time or space, and we feel pulled in so many different directions. This session uses simple movements, co-ordinating with our breath, and working with simple sounds using our voices, to help us find a new sense of space and wellbeing, enabling us to live our lives more fully.

Wise food choices and a balanced diet are key elements to a healthy lifestyle and can both slow and improve the ageing process. This talk with registered dietitian Carisa Sheridan will focus on how dietary needs change as we get older, and which nutrients in particular are important for ageing populations.

Visit our library stand, pick up a leaflet and ask staff about all the free resources you can borrow with a library card or/and download on your mobile devices. Between, books, magazines, e-audiobooks and courses, you will find something to suit you.
