Update following recent rain and wind events - 10 February 2026

The Dodder Flood Gates are now fully re-opened along with coastal carparks at Clontarf and Sandymount.

All associated  operational matters and clean-ups have also been carried out.

Dublin City Council's Flood Defence Division wishes to thank you all including our own supporting DCC Divisions, Residents, Businesses, Councillors, Oireachtas Members and other stakeholders, for your support and patience over the last two weeks of very challenging weather conditions.

Together, we all keep our City protected.
