Clamping and Tow-Away
If your vehicle has been clamped
Clamping services are operated by Dublin Street Parking Services (DSPS). To be de-clamped, you must pay the release fee of €125. Payment can be made online at www.dsps.ie or by calling 01 602 2500.
If your vehicle has been towed away
Your vehicle may be towed away for parking in a bus lane, in a clearway, blocking an entrance to a premise or for being clamped for over 24 hours without payment. If after 24 hours the clamp is not paid, it will be moved to the city car pound. You will then have to pay a removal (€250) and storage charge for each day (€35 per day) that it is held. If you suspect your car has been towed away contact Dublin Street Parking Services (DSPS) on 01 602 2500.
In the event that your vehicle has not been towed away by Dublin Street Parking Services (DSPS), contact An Garda Síochána (Irish Police Service).
