Dublin has three bike share schemes which allow users to borrow bikes for short periods of time. This is a great way to test out cycling and gives cyclists the option to combine cycling with other modes of transport so they can get around the city with ease.

DublinBikes

DublinBikes is a self-service bike rental system open to everyone aged 14 and up. The first 30 minutes of each journey are free, but users need to register with DublinBikes to rent a bike.

Stations are distributed throughout Dublin city centre to enable easy access and optimal use for subscribers. Bikes are accessible 365 days a year between the hours of 5am and 12.30am. Bikes can be returned at any time.

Stationless Bike Sharing

Bleeper and MOBY Bikes are the two stationless bike sharing services currently operating in Dublin. They are mainly located in areas currently underserved by DublinBikes.

Moby has both pedal and electric bikes available, while Bleeper also allows users to borrow cargo bikes.
