Live Temporary Traffic Management Notices
Information on traffic management arrangements required to facilitate construction of the Clontarf to City Centre Project
With the majority of the main works now complete on the Clontarf to City Centre Scheme, localised roadworks are proposed to address snagging related works and the remaining road construction works (details as per below).
The works are necessary to complete some of the remaining road construction works on Clontarf to City Centre Scheme.
1. Clontarf Road Inbound – Alfie Byrne Road Junction (Left Turn Lane into Alfie Byrne Road Off Peak Closure)
- Dates; Monday 10th February – Wednesday 12th February
- Daytime works; The Clontarf Road inbound left turn lane (Alfie Byrne Junction) is proposed to be closed to facilitate the footpath repair works during the off- peak hours from 10:00 to 16:00.
- The footpath will be temporarily closed for the entire duration of the works (Mon 10th – Wed 13th), signage will be in place to guide pedestrians into the promenade. Temporary mats will be placed over the soft areas for pedestrian use.

2. North Strand Road – The Strand Apartments
- Dates; Monday 10th February – Friday 14th February
- Day time works – 10:00 – 16:00 (off peak installation with a section of the Bus Lane Closure). The inbound cycle track on North Strand Road will be closed in the vicinity of the Strand Apartments for the proposed entire duration of works (Mon 10th – Fri 14th)
