Royal Canal Greenway Phase 3 – Phased Opening Update – 6th June 2025

Further to last week's update, the section of greenway between Clarke’s Bridge (Summerhill Parade) and Newcomen Bridge (North Strand Road) will open to the public on Friday 20th June 2025. This is due to a delay in the delivery of the parapet railings for the ramp at Clarke's Bridge.

This section is currently expected to open in August 2025. A precise opening date will be given closer to the time.

Section 3: Bloody Sunday Bridge (Russell Street) to Clarke’s Bridge (Summerhill Parade) – Closed

This section is currently expected to open in July 2025. A precise opening date will be given closer to the time.

Section 4: Clarke’s Bridge (Summerhill Parade) to Newcomen Bridge (North Strand Road) – Closed
