General Data Protection Regulations ( GDPR ) – Privacy Notice, Transport Advisory Group Administration Section – Transport Related Service Requests

Your information is collected to process Transport related service requests.

The legal basis is provided for under Section 38 of the Road Traffic Act 1994 and Section 78 of the Road Traffic Act 2010. Information collected by us is limited to contact details provided in respect of requests made for transport management measures, road signs and road markings.

The information may be shared with other relevant Dublin City Council Departments and Sections in order to process your query.

The personal information supplied by you will be kept securely and is currently retained indefinitely.

If the personal data is not given, it is not possible for Dublin City Council to process your request.

Many requests will have an impact on other residents or stakeholders on a street. Dublin City Council is committed to serving the common good of all rather than trying to maximise personal gain for an individual.

If you have the support of a minimum of 3 of your neighbours or fellow stakeholders please upload a petition signed by these people. 

If you do not have the support of 3 fellow stakeholders your request will be held on file until two similar submissions are made.  It is therefore advised not to submit the request without this supporting documentation.
