Waste Management Services Remain in Operation Throughout the City.

Printer-friendly version

In order to protect our staff and ensure that we can continue to provide this service we are operating at a significantly reduced capacity each day and overnight.

The focus of our service remains on the management of litter, servicing of litter bins and removal of illegal dumping.

We continue to respond to customer service requests received and these can continue to be made through our customer services centre at customerservices@dublincity.ie , online through our web-site www.dublincity.ie  and by phone on 01 222 2222 .

While we continue to operate it is taking us longer than normal to attend to all of the required activities and requests and we are prioritising the continued cleaning of main arterial routes and thoroughfares in the city.

We would ask that people continue to assist us in ensuring the city remains clean throughout this period by:

  • Using your household waste collection as normal.
  • Use the network of bottle banks and textile only when absolutely necessary.
  • Please don’t leave waste at these sites and let us know if you encounter any problems at the bottle or textile banks
  • Dispose of litter at home or in litter bins where required.
  • Please do not dump household waste or junk on your streets or green spaces .
  • Bag and bin your dogs waste.
  • Our bring centres are currently closed please do not try to visit these sites or leave waste at these sites as this will only contribute to dumping and litter in the city.

We will keep you updated on any further changes to our services during this unprecedented period.
