Coming from the Airport (N1 Motorway)
Travel on the N1 southbound in the direction of the City Centre. On the Upper Drumcondra Road pass St. Patrick’s College on the right hand side. At the next crossroads take the first right onto Millmount Avenue. Drumcondra Library is at the very end of Millmount Avenue on the right hand side.
Coming from the City Centre (O’Connell Street)
Coming from the City Centre follow the signs for the Airport and travel northbound along Dorset Street. Continue northbound, cross over the Royal Canal, pass under the railway bridge with Drumcondra Train Station on your left. Continue northbound, and cross over the River Tolka. Take the first turn left onto Millmount Avenue. Drumcondra Library is at the very end of Millmount Avenue on the right hand side.

Drumcondra Library opened 19 February 1937. It is a small public library branch serving the north city suburb of Drumcondra and the surrounding area. In 2010 the library underwent significant refurbishment including provision for ramped access and a wheelchair accessible public toilet. Read about the history of the building.
