What is My Open Library?
My Open Library is a self-service library service that allows registered users to access the building and facilities when staff are not present.
You can:
- Browse and borrow books
- Use study and reading spaces
- Access public computers and Wi-Fi
- Return items using self-service
Who can use it?
To use My Open Library, you must:
- Be a registered Dublin City Libraries member (i.e. already have a valid library card)
- Be aged 16 or over
- Have your account in good standing
My Open Library is an additional service for existing members.
