  • Motor Tax Office Closed.

    The Motor Tax Office has reopened for postal applications. The Public Office remains closed. All postal items received whilst we were closed will be processed. In light of government measures were are operating with a reduced workforce and restricted phone support service on T. 01 222 8000. Any customer with an urgent tax application should email motortax@dublincity.ie quoting their vehicle registration. Thank you for your patience during these difficult times

  • All City Council offices including Area Offices are closed to members of the public, with the exception of the DRHE Offices at Parkgate Street and the Civic Offices, where there will be very limited public access, strictly by appointment for certain housing/homeless services.

Dublin City Council supports healthcare workers by waiving permit fees

Dublin City Council has announced that it is waiving permit fees for its two licensed operators of Stationless Bike Hire Schemes to help support healthcare workers.   BleeperBike and Moby are offering free bike hire to help those working in the medical sector get to work during the COVID-19 pandemic. Dublin City Council is waiving both of the operators fees for as long as the initiative lasts.

Household Waste Disposal.

Dublin City Council is reminding people that household waste collections are continuing and you should continue to use your bin or bag collection as normal.  For those who cannot access a normal household waste collection we will be accepting household waste at our Pigeon House Road recycling centre from Weds 1st April on a restricted basis.
