Climate-Neutral and Smart Cities Mission

Dublin City is one of 100 cities in the EU’s Climate-Neutral & Smart Cities Mission, with the goal of becoming climate neutral by 2030 .  As part of the mission we aim to turn Dublin into a resilient, resourceful, social and creative city for all.

Dublin City Council prepared an action plan, along with a set of commitments and investments involving a range of stakeholders, both private and public.  The plan has been assessed by the European Commission and the European Investment Bank and deemed to be a credible pathway to net zero, if implemented.
