IMEND reimagines Dublin’s streets as green, living spaces. Through tree planting, rain gardens and landscaped features, streets will become cooler, more attractive and more biodiverse environments. These interventions bring nature back into the city while enhancing the character and comfort of neighbourhoods.
💧 Managing Rainwater Naturally
IMEND changes how the city deals with rain. Instead of quickly directing water into drains, it captures, slows and cleans it where it falls. Nature-based drainage systems reduce surface water runoff, improve water quality and relieve pressure on Dublin’s drainage network.
🌍 Climate-Resilient City
