Quantity Surveyors

Quantity Surveyors have a wide ranging role in advising upon and financially managing the City Council’s construction programme, from inception to final completion, on a varied range of new build, refurbishment and maintenance projects in the residential, commercial, leisure and municipal sectors.

Staff members are encouraged to become members of the Society of Chartered Surveyors Ireland and to become actively involved in Quantity Surveying Professional Group and in Working Groups/Team within the Society.

An in-house Assessment of Professional Competence (APC) team is in place within the Division and provides the requisite training to staff pursuing the attainment of Chartered status.
