Dublin City Libraries would like to share this recording from a recent event.
This talk features the history of the area through the lives of the residents who called this historic part of Dublin their home. It was hosted by Dolphins Barn and Inchicore Library and presented by the Historian in Residence, Cathy Scuffil. The estate of Rialto Court, Street and Cottages has witnessed many key events of Irish history since the early 1880’s when Sir Edward Cecil Guinness requested the Dublin Artisans Dwelling Company (DADC) to commence building homes for his brewery workers.
