Breastfeeding provides personalized, life-protecting nourishment, builds a unique bond between mother and baby, and offers health benefits for both, including a strong immune system for the child and potential health protection for the mother.
It is a constantly adapting, on-demand, and readily available source of food that can foster deep connection, offer comfort, and provide a strong foundation for a child's health and development, according to the World Health Organization.
