A specially commissioned dance performance for 10-15 year olds took place in the Ballyfermot Library.

This children’s dance event for schools and the community was choreographed by dancer Maria Nilsson Waller. During the performance, Ballyfermot Library was transformed into a playground, for one of our most iconic legends of all times - Orpheus and Eurydice.

Journey took place in Ballyfermot Library on the 20-23 of October 2014.

It formed part of the Children’s Art in Libraries Programme.

A second video of the event, and was produced by the artists themselves.
