Dublin City Community Safety Partnerships Launch Citywide Survey to Shape Safer Communities
Published on 9th July 2026
The five Dublin City Local Community Safety Partnerships (LCSP) – Dublin North Central, Dublin Northwest, Dublin South Central, Dublin Southeast and Dublin Central – have today launched an online survey to gather public feedback on community safety issues across the city.
The online survey, which will remain open for four weeks, is an important opportunity for residents, businesses, community organisations and other stakeholders to have their voices heard. Feedback gathered will directly inform the development of each Partnership's Community Safety Plan, ensuring local priorities and concerns are reflected in actions to improve safety and wellbeing across the city.
Lord Mayor of Dublin Darryl Barron said, “I encourage everyone to take a few minutes to complete this survey and have their say on community safety in their local area. Your views and experiences are invaluable in helping us understand local needs and shape Community Safety Plans that will support safer, stronger and more connected communities across Dublin.”
Participants are encouraged to share their experiences, identify the issues that matter most to them and highlight opportunities to make their communities safer, more inclusive and better connected.
The survey opens on Thursday, 9 July 2026 and will remain open until Wednesday, 5 August 2026.
Dublin City Local Community Safety Partnerships bring together local communities, public services, statutory agencies and voluntary organisations to work collaboratively on improving safety and enhancing quality of life. Public participation is central to this process, helping to ensure that local plans are informed by the experiences and priorities of the people who live and work in each community.
Have your say and help shape the future of community safety in Dublin City.
