Dublin City Council proud to partner with the Little Blue Heroes and welcome Bumblebee 1000 to the city centre

Dublin City Council are delighted to announce the return of the Bumblebee 1000 charity road trip in aid of the Little Blue Heroes, taking place on 14 June 2026.
Bumblebee 1000 has become one of Ireland’s most exciting and impactful fundraising events. This unique supercar road trip featuring over 100 high-performance and luxury vehicles travelling across the country in support of children living with serious illnesses.
Founded in 2021, the event combines a passion for motoring with a powerful charitable mission, raising vital funds and creating unforgettable experiences for families supported by Little Blue Heroes. More than just a road trip, the event is a moving celebration of courage and community. With special stops along the way to meet the Little Blue Heroes “Honorary Gardaí” children, who are at the heart of everything the charity does.
Dublin City will be at the centre of all the action, with the spectacular convoy arriving at College Green, Dublin 2, at 12 noon on Sunday 14 June. Members of the public will have the opportunity to see an impressive display of Ferraris, Lamborghinis, McLarens, and other iconic vehicles.
This year marks an important milestone, with Dublin City Council partnering with Little Blue Heroes to support the launch and delivery of the 2026 event. The collaboration will help enhance engagement in Dublin, providing opportunities for the public to experience the excitement of the Bumblebee 1000 while backing a meaningful cause.
Lord Mayor of Dublin Councillor Ray Mc Adam said, “Dublin is proud to welcome and support Little Blue Heroes and Bumblebee 1000. This is more than a display of extraordinary cars. It is a celebration of community, generosity and the power of people coming together for a wonderful cause. On Sunday, 14 June, College Green will be transformed into something truly special, with Lamborghinis, Porsches, McLarens and many more remarkable vehicles on show. I warmly invite families, car enthusiasts and Dubliners of all ages to come into the heart of the city, support Little Blue Heroes and enjoy a spectacle they will remember for a very long time.”
Since its inception, Bumblebee 1000 has raised hundreds of thousands of euro for Little Blue Heroes, helping deliver practical support, memorable experiences, and moments of happiness to children facing serious illness.

We are thrilled to partner with Dublin City Council in 2026 to bring this event to even more communities and make an even greater impact.”
The event also attracts thousands of spectators, creating a vibrant, family-friendly atmosphere.
Get involved and help make the 2026 Bumblebee 1000 the biggest and most successful yet. The public, community groups and businesses are encouraged to line College Green on 14 June to wave on the fundraising drivers in their magnificent cars.
