Green Spaces

Alongside our parks, Dublin City Council manages a network of green spaces and street planting that accommodates nature in the heart of the city. Through our Greening Strategy, we create new pocket parks, expand tree cover and encourage pollinator-friendly planting.

These green corridors connect parks, street trees and habitat across the city, allowing wildlife to move more freely while also reducing air pollution, absorbing carbon and cooling urban areas.
