Woodland Guides
Download our guide to the woodlands in St. Anne’s Park, Tolka Valley Park and Bushy Park.
Urban woodlands in Dublin provide essential habitats for a wide range of plant and animal species. When well-managed, these woodlands enhance biodiversity, offer valuable recreational spaces and help reduce noise and air pollution in the city.
To highlight and celebrate some of Dublin’s key woodland areas, Dublin City Council produced a Short Guide to Three Dublin City Woodlands. The guide explores the woodlands in Bushy Park, St. Anne’s Park and Tolka Valley Park. It offers insights into each of their ecological value, historical context and the importance of ongoing stewardship.
