Site Investigation Works
The Gracefield Road to Vernon Avenue Active Travel Scheme is currently at the detailed design stage. To examine ground conditions and the location of underground utilities, Dublin City Council have appointed Causeway Geotech Ltd to carry out ground investigation works at select locations on Brookwood Avenue, Sybil Hill Road and Vernon Avenue. These works consist of slit trenches and inspection pits and are planned to take place in the week Saturday 28th March - Friday 3rd April 2026.
Lane closures and stop/go systems will be necessary to manage traffic while works are ongoing, so road users should expect delays in the area.
