Nassau Street Cycle Upgrade Project

The Nassau Street Cycle Upgrade project saw the upgrade of the 0.325-kilometre contra-flow cycle track between the Clare Street and Dawson Street junctions.

The works included the installation of red asphalt surfacing, cycle signal equipment, cycle friendly gully gratings and protective kerbing. The cycle track was widened, and new road markings and traffic signal infrastructure were installed to facilitate the introduction of a two-way cycle track.

The works were completed by Cairn Construction in 2026.
