Inchicore Library at Richmond Barracks will be temporarily closed starting Thursday 22 May to facilitate necessary works for an improved service; we appreciate your patience during this time and look forward to sharing more details soon. The library is expected to reopen on Tuesday 3 June.
We are pleased to offer a wide range of children’s books as Gaeilge in our Cúinne Gaeilge in Cabra Library. I would like to give you a snapshot of the kinds of children’s books that are available for borrowing from the libraries.
After a year with no Bohemian Football Club matches in Dalymount Park, and no browsing in Phibsboro library, the library invited Boh's captain, Keith Buckley, and Poet in Residence John Cummins, as well as Chief Operating Officer Daniel Lambert into the library to discuss all things football and poetry.
You can access this course on Universal Class and it is an essential training programme for anyone working with the public. It is one of over 500 free online courses available on DCC libraries website.

As adult non-fiction buyer for Dublin City Libraries, a key part of my role is to comb through the staggering annual publishing output of new adult non-fiction releases, across all the genres, to pluck out the ‘gems’ among them, and ensure they are available for our library patrons.
