Dublin City Libraries Closure: Thursday 20 February

To facilitate staff training and continuing professional development (CPD), all Dublin City Library branches will close at 1 pm on Thursday 20 February. We apologise for any inconvenience.

Central Library will close at 12 noon.  All other branches will close at 1pm, with the exception of  Donaghmede, Drumcondra and Kevin Street libraries which will be closed all day. 

All branches will reopen as usual at 10am on Friday 21 February.

My open Library in Raheny and Pembroke will remain open.

Online Renewals

You can renew your loans online if they are not required by another member of the library. If you have forgotten your Personal Identification Number, you can reset it online.  Please don't worry though, as there are no fines on overdue items.

Dublin City Libraries

Don't forget about My Open Library

MOL is an unstaffed, self-service library, available at Pembroke Library and Raheny Library every day of the year! During My Open Library Hours you can borrow and return items, print, photocopy, use the Internet, access Free Wifi and use our study space. Available from 8am - 10pm 7 days a week at Pembroke Library and Raheny Library. 

Please note: you must register for My Open Library in advance.
