Section 251A of the Planning & Development Act 2000 as amended has been implemented by Dublin City Council which for the planning process is that the period from 29th March 2020 to 23rd May 2020 inclusive is disregarded when calculating any specified statutory timelines in the Planning Acts and associated regulations.

Every effort is being made to ensure the planning service operates effectively and efficiently in the context of the most up to date health advice thereby ensuring the health and safety of staff, reducing the risk of the spread of COVID-19 and minimising the public health risks associated with it.  In order to ensure social distancing staff are working from a variety of locations including home.  The most efficient way to contact us at this time is by emailing planning@dublincity.ie  Please include a brief description of your query, planning application number, exact address and your contact details so that your query can be directed to the appropriate person/section for a prompt response.
