Free Family Fun in Full Bloom at Dublin City Council’s St. Anne’s Park Rose Festival 2026

Dublin City Council is inviting families, nature lovers and visitors from across the city to enjoy a weekend of flowers, music, biodiversity and free family entertainment at the St. Anne’s Park Rose Festival, taking place in St. Anne’s Park, Raheny from 10.00am – 6.00pm on Saturday 18 July and Sunday 19 July 2026.
Set against the backdrop of Dublin's iconic Rose Garden, the free festival will feature live music, children's entertainment, climbing activities, arts and crafts, environmental exhibits, fitness sessions and food from around the world, making it one of the capital's most anticipated summer events.
Speaking ahead of the festival, the Lord Mayor of Dublin Daryl Barron said, “Dublin City Council is proud to support the Rose Festival, which has become a much-loved summer tradition for generations of Dubliners. The festival highlights the beauty of St. Anne's Park while bringing people together to enjoy nature, music, biodiversity and community spirit. With a fantastic programme of free events and activities, there is something for everyone, and I encourage people of all ages to come along and enjoy the weekend."
Nestled within the historic 270-acre St. Anne's Park, the festival coincides with the peak blooming season of the renowned Rose Garden, now in its fifty-first year. Visitors will have the opportunity to experience thousands of roses in full flower while enjoying a packed programme of events and activities.
A key attraction of this year's festival is the ever-popular Biodiversity Village, showcasing the work being carried out by environmental, conservation, heritage and community organisations from across Ireland. Visitors can meet experts, explore interactive exhibits and learn more about biodiversity, climate action, wildlife conservation and sustainable living.

Baile Átha Cliath le Gaeilge will be in attendance sharing information with the public about @baclegaeilge and the many opportunities available to speak and learn Irish throughout the city. Whether you're a fluent speaker or a complete beginner, everyone is welcome.
Visitors can also look forward to a wide range of entertainment throughout the weekend, including live music performances, the Peak Discovery Climbing Wall, Axe Throwing with the Axe Club, children's activities, and a visit from the Dublin City Council Library Bus.
The festival will also feature free Yoga and Tai Chi sessions, providing opportunities to relax and recharge while enjoying the beautiful surroundings of St. Anne's Park. A variety of food vendors will be on site serving flavours from around the world, ensuring there is something to suit every taste.
The festival will run from 10am–6pm on Saturday 18 July and Sunday 19 July 2026. Admission is free. Visitors are encouraged to travel on foot, by bicycle or via public transport where possible. Several Dublin Bus routes serve the Raheny area, helping visitors reduce congestion and enjoy a greener journey to the festival.
Following its successful introduction, managed bicycle parking will return for a second year and will be accessible via Mount Prospect Avenue. The facility will be supervised by the Dublin Cycling Campaign, which will also have cycling-themed giveaways for lucky visitors.
Dublin City Council is committed to ensuring the festival is welcoming, inclusive and accessible to all. Accessible pathways connect the main festival areas, accessible toilet facilities will be available on site, and designated accessible parking spaces will be provided. Festival staff and volunteers will be available throughout the weekend to assist visitors and help ensure an enjoyable experience for everyone.
Please note that all car parking at the festival is cashless and must be paid for digitally. Visitors are advised to bring a card or contactless payment method.
