  • Fire Safety Week

    National Fire Safety Week, October 5th - October 12th, is about enhancing fire safety, particularly in the home. This year’s theme is “Smoke Alarms Save Lives”. The campaign not only encourages people to have smoke alarms and test them, but also calls on the wider community to look out for each other, especially those most vulnerable and at risk.

    Dublin Fire Brigade would like to announce that as part of National Fire Safety Week this year, a number of landmark buildings throughout Dublin have agreed to ‘turn red’ to highlight the issue.

  • Motor Tax Office Closed.

    The Motor Tax Office, Public Office remains closed until further notice. The office is processing postal applications only. All postal items received will be processed within 5 to 10 working days. In light of government measures were are operating with a reduced workforce and restricted phone support service on T. 01 222 8000 from 9am to 4pm. Any customer with an urgent tax application should email motortax@dublincity.ie quoting their vehicle registration.

Closure of some of our tennis courts

From today, tennis will cease in Herbert Park, Bushy Park and Rockfield Park and any other tennis locations where there is organised tennis, whether affiliated to Tennis Ireland or not. This is following direction from Sport Ireland to Tennis Ireland to suspend all activities, including all junior coaching programmes with immediate effect, for the duration of Level 5 of the current restrictions.
