How to Search for Planning Information on the Dublin City Council Map
To carry out a planning search on the Dublin City Council map, please follow the steps below.
You can begin your search in two ways.
First, you can type the name of the street you want to look up into the search bar on the top‑left side of the screen. This will show you planning information for that area. Alternatively, you can enter a planning application reference number by selecting the relevant tab on the top‑left side of the screen. This will bring you directly to the application you want to view.
The map allows you to view different types of planning applications, including Granted applications, Pending applications, Refused or Invalid applications, and Withdrawn applications.
To view these options, click the icon on the top‑right side of the screen. This will expand the menu and allow you to switch on the categories you want to see.
Please be aware that only planning applications within Dublin City Council’s jurisdiction will appear on this map.”
DCC Alerts: How to Sign Up for Planning Alerts in Your Area
You can receive free planning alerts for your local area by signing up to DCC Alerts. This is Dublin City Council’s official notification service, which sends updates by email or SMS about activity in your chosen location. Alerts can include new planning applications and decided planning applications, along with other useful local information.
To sign up, visit the DCC Alerts website and create an account. You can then choose your preferred location and select the types of alerts you want to receive. You can update your preferences or unsubscribe at any time.
