Stage 1: Pre-Draft Development Plan
Stage 1 in the development of the Dublin City Development Plan 2022-2028 involved a review of the 2016-2022 plan and a pre-draft consultation which allowed the public to make submissions.
The pre-draft consultation ended on 22 February 2021. Dublin City Council organised virtual public information meetings in January and received 752 submissions during this first phase of the process.
The Chief Executive's response to the issues raised in these submissions was prepared and his report with recommendations was submitted to the elected members of Dublin City Council for consideration.
After this, a draft development plan was prepared and stage 2 of the process began.
