Dublin Fire Brigade use social media to:
- Prevent fires and incidents.
- Inform the public about incidents we are at or have attended.
- Promote the great work of our staff.
We also use social media to gather information about incidents that could be useful to the crews at the scene, as well as for investigations, debriefs and training. So if you take a picture of our crews at work, don’t be afraid to tag us. Our handle is @dubfirebrigade across X, Facebook and Instagram.

In the event of a large incident, X is also where you will find live information and updates.
We’re on Facebook and Instagram too. Here, you will find the highlights of our week and more useful safety information. Follow us at @dubfirebrigade.
However, please don't use to social media to report an incident or emergency! We don’t monitor it 24/7. Always ring 999/112 instead.
