The competition is organised by IPB Pride of Place in association with Co-Operation Ireland.
Communities are asked to demonstrate to the judges their pride in their place by oral presentation, exhibitions of community activities and culture and a tour of the area which highlights aspects of their place of which they are particularly proud.
It is also important that the community demonstrates real partnership with their local council and shows that all sectors of the community are included. Each entry is adjudicated by two judges. This can take up to 3 hours depending on the category being adjudicated.
If you wish to enter the IPB Pride Of Place Awards, please contact Dublin City Council's Pride of Place Liaison Officer by email at [email protected] Your Liaison Officer will be happy to help with any queries or concerns regarding all aspects of the competition.
