The Rental Accommodation Scheme (RAS) provides accommodation from the private rented sector for persons who are in receipt of rent supplement and who have a long-term housing need.

RAS is seeking to enter into six-year contracts with landlords. RAS accepts vacant properties only.

RAS is for you if you:

  • want a guaranteed rent from Dublin City Council for six years
  • don’t want the hassle of advertising and interviewing tenants
  • don’t want the hassle of chasing arrears
  • want regular payments by electronic fund transfer
  • don’t want vacant periods.

You can apply using the landlord application form in English or Irish/Gaeilge.
