Local Authority Tenants can now apply for permission to rent a room to a student. The Dublin City Council Scheme is now open. Application forms and Frequently Asked Questions for Tenants and Students are available here. Any acceptance of an application to participate in this scheme does not mean that permission will be granted as specific criteria must be met before Dublin City Council will consider granting a license. Tenants must not let a student (or any other person) move into their home without the prior consent of Dublin City Council. Completed applications should be submitted to [email protected] or posted to Room for a Student, Rent Section, Housing and Community Services, Dublin City Council, Civic Offices, Dublin 8.
