Native Tree Trails
Dublin’s parks provide the perfect environment for many of our native trees, which in turn support a number of other species. Native trees have been here for thousands of years and were transported to Ireland through natural means, such as seeds being carried by birds, other animals or on the wind.
We have developed native tree trails in nine parks across the city to help you identify these trees and explore their rich social and natural history.
